Four 18-Hole Championship Golf Courses
Guests of the Lakeway Resort and Spa enjoy privileges at four nearby private and public golf courses. Each course is unique in its own way, yet all offer fully stocked pro shops, snack bars, driving ranges, putting greens, rental clubs, gift certificates, and private or group lessons. Golf rounds are not guaranteed and are available only when space is available for Flintrock Falls, Falconhead, Live Oak and Yaupon courses.
This gem is the area's first collaborative design by Jack Nicklaus and son, Jack Nicklaus, II. Opened in 2002, Flintrock Falls is recognized as one of the Nicklaus' classic efforts. The signature Waterfall hole #11 is considered one of the most beautiful holes in Texas.
Flintrock Falls is 7,051 yards from the Black Tees with a course rating of 74.8 and a slope rating of 145. Well-placed tee shots are at a premium and approach shots and short game skills are most important to negotiate the well bunkered, undulating greens at Flintrock Falls. High in elevation, you may be distracted by scenic vistas of the surrounding Hill Country and nearby Lake Travis.

From our knobby oaks and cedars to our rolling hills to our creeks and ponds, we have a golf course that stands above others in the area. What makes Falconhead particularly special is that it was laid out by the PGA Tour Design architects and has been designated as a PGA Tour Signature Series Course. The Tour's seal of approval means that Falconhead offers the kind of excitement expected at a tournament-level course, combined with a chance to succeed no matter what your skill level.

Rolling fairways take the game past limestone outcroppings, serene water features and picturesque vistas. The front nine is characterized by elevated tee boxes creating and impression that the shot will carry forever. The back nine is slightly lower in elevation and more secluded with strategic water features and arching fairways. Designer: Leon Howard

The Live Oak Course derives its name from the Live Oak trees that frame its meandering fairways and shade its tees and ample greens. Members and guests often feel as though they are playing a secret course hidden in the hills, away from the demands of everyday life. Designer: Leon Howard
