Appointments

Appointments should be scheduled at least 7 days in advance to guarantee availability. Please allow one month to schedule spa packages. All spa appointments must be guaranteed with a credit card.

Cancellation Considerations

Please cancel your appointments 24 hours in advance to allow other guests ample time to schedule appointments in your absence. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance or "no shows" will be charged 100% of the treatment price. Prices and services are subject to change without notice. Treatments scheduled within 24 hours of the appointment time will be charged 100% of the treatment price.

How early should I arrive for my appointment?

We recommend that guests arrive at least 20-30 minutes prior to scheduled appointment times. Please allow yourself enough time when driving to Lakeway Resort and Spa. If you wish to enjoy the showers, dry sauna, spa terrace or relax in the men's or women's lounges prior to your appointment, please be sure to leave adequate time so that you aren't rushed.

What if I'm running late? Should I cancel?

If you are running late for an appointment, we will do our best to accommodate you however we might have to reschedule your appointment. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance or "no shows" will be charged 100% of the treatment price. Treatments scheduled within 24 hours of the appointment time will be charged 100% of the treatment price. 

What should I bring with me to my appointment?

We provide robes and sandals upon check-in. Please dress to your comfort level - undergarments under robes are optional. Please remove all jewelry and other personal belongings prior to your service and secure all items in the locker provided. Lakeway Resort and Spa is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.

Can I request a male or female spa provider?

Yes, please specify your therapist preference when making your appointment. We will fulfill a gender request whenever possible.

What is recommended after my treatment?

Guests are welcome to relax in the men's and women's lounges, spa terrace, or dry saunas after their treatments.

Youth Services

Please contact a Spa Concierge at 512.261.7350 to answer questions regarding our youth treatments. Children 5 - 15 must be accompanied by an adult during any service.

Children

As a courtesy to other spa guests, children are not permitted in spa treatment areas or left unattended in the spa lobby.

Service Charges

An automatic 21% service fee will be added to all spa packages, spa retreats and spa specials. Prices and services are subject to change without notice. Additional gratuities can be accepted for exceptional service. Typical gratuities for spa service begin at 18 percent and may be higher based upon satisfaction level.

Food and Beverage Service

Food and Beverage menus are available upon request. Complimentary herbal teas and flavored waters are available daily in the spa.

Gift Cards

Gift cards can be purchased in any dollar amount and used towards any of our spa treatments, spa merchandise, spa products or spa packages. Gift cards will expire one year after the purchase date. You can purchase a gift card from the spa front desk or the Spa Concierge at 512.261.7350. Gift cards are non-refundable and may not be redeemed for cash.

Cell Phones, Pagers, Smoking

In order to provide a relaxing spa experience, we kindly ask that all cell phones and pagers be turned off upon entering the spa. Smoking is prohibited in the spa.

Pregnancy

If you are pregnant, please let our Spa Concierge know when scheduling your appointment. This will assist us with providing you with the proper treatments. We will only accommodate guests in their 2nd and 3rd trimester.

Retin A, Accutane, Renova Users

If you currently are using these drugs, please advise the Spa Concierge and your service provider. Some treatments, such as waxing, are not recommended for those using these products. 

When do I need to fill out the Disclosure and Release form?

This is a standard form and is designed to get an understanding of any medical conditions, injuries, skin conditions, mobility limitations, etc that might need to be taken into consideration for a treatment. The information disclosed on the form will assist the service provider in providing you with the best service to meet your needs. Also, please inform your service therapist if you experience any discomfort or concerns during a treatment.  

Should I use the dry sauna?

Dry saunas are believed to relieve tension and stress, stimulate blood circulation, and help rejuvenate the skin through perspiration. The temperature is regulated between 120 and 160 degrees. Please do not use the sauna if you are pregnant, have a heart condition or have varicose veins. Please consult your physician prior to using a dry sauna. You will have access to the locker rooms before and/or after a treatment. 

Is it recommended to shave before a body treatment?

We recommend that you do not shave within 24 hours prior to a body treatment. The ingredients used in our treatments are gentle but it may cause skin irritations to the new exposed skin after shaving.  

Can I go out in the sun after a facial?

Exposure to sunlight or tanning beds within 3 days of a facial could be harmful and might cause severe scarring, burning and/or pigmentation disorder. Please use a sunscreen with a SPF of 20 or higher for at least one week after a facial. 

Can I request a spa service in my hotel room?

Yes, we do offer in-room services at an additional fee of $30 to the service price, per treatement and based upon availability.
