Q: Why Lakeway Resort and Spa for my special day?
A: Lakeway Resort and Spa offers spectacular views of Lake Travis and gorgeous sunsets. The backdrop is pure romance, as family and friends gather to celebrate your wedding day. Q: Does Lakeway Resort and Spa offer more than weddings?
A: Absolutely! Lakeway makes unforgettable moments with customized Bridal Slumber Parties, Groom's Poker Night or Girls Spa Day.
Q: What is the rental duration?
A: Events are based on a five-hour time frame (not including setup, ceremony, or tear down). If available, additional time can be added to your event at $250 per hour. Ceremony and reception areas are available two hours prior to start time for your decor needs. Should you wish for an afternoon event, it must conclude by 3:00 p.m.
Q: Is additional set-up time permitted?
A: You can guarantee additional set-up hours prior to your event at a rate of $250 per hour. If you request additional hours within 45 days of your event, they will be provided at no additional charge based on availability.
Q: What is the deposit?
A: The deposit is 30% of your minimum and is due via credit card upon contract signing. It is non-refundable and applied toward your final balance.
Q: How can I place a tentative hold on a date?
A: If the date is available, a tentative hold can be placed for two weeks at no cost or obligation. After two weeks, the hold will be released unless otherwise arranged with your catering manager. Should another interested party wish to sign a contact on your hold date, you will be alerted via phone and email and have two business days to respond and sign a contract. Should the resort not be contacted within that time frame, your date will be released.
Q: What are your decor restrictions?
A: Any decor brought into the resort must not change the existing structure; therefore, we do not allow glitter, anything to be nailed or screwed into a wall, or anything to be painted. Items are permitted to be hung on the metal ceiling bars in the Vistas Ballroom but not the circular chandeliers. Sparklers and fireworks for your departure are permitted; please contact your catering manager to ensure proper permits are in place.
Q: Is a ceremony rehearsal included?
A: A ceremony rehearsal is included at no additional charge. The time and location will be confirmed within 45 days of your wedding.
Q: Can we have a tasting?
A: Complimentary menu tastings are provided for up to four guests after a contract is signed. The tasting is your time to meet with our chefs and determine the final details of your menu if necessary. Tastings are held 6 to 12 weeks before your wedding.
