Dance as art may tell a story, set a mood, or express an emotion. Some dances consist of symbolic gestures that tell a story completely through movement for the purpose of expressing an idea or emotion. We strive to promote and embrace Panamanian culture. One of our mission is to make sure we expand cultural awareness and to continue to work with the youth. Panamanian culture is a hybrid of African, Native Panamanian, and European culture - specifically Spanish. Our "Tamborito" is a Spanish dance that was blended with Native American rhythms and dance moves. Dance is a symbol of the diverse cultures that have coupled in Panama. The local folklore can be experienced through a multitude of festivals, dances and traditions that have been handed down from generation to generation. Panama has a rich historical heritage. Please join us to our First Annual Panamanian Folkloric Event, we will be celebrating Panamanian Independence Day by presenting our cultural and traditional dances from all over The Isthmus of Panama. We are so honored and excited to present and bring some Panamanian Arts, Dancer, Poetry and much more. Door open at 6:00 PM - No assigned Seating - Limited Tickets get yours today! We will have some refreshments for sale.
